We found this really simple browser-based tool using Google Street View imagery— created by Teehan+Lax, in Toronto— via the Creators project.
Choose the start and end points of your hyperlapse on Google Maps, then select a point of interest for the camera to focus on to add a sleek sweeping effect—wait a few seconds and bingo, you’ve created a beautiful moving montage made up entirely of Street View pictures. For the unfamiliar, the creators project is a collaboration between Intel (who are still inside) and Vice (still naughty after all these years). They describe the initiative as a global celebration of art and technology — which, translated into human means cool digital art, on and off line.
