Small news app that makes big news

Pulse came to us looking for a brand identity and messaging that would create a robust system to take their successful news app business forward. 

They have a history of making headlines themselves. Akshay Kothari and Ankit Gupta, Stanford graduates who built the app from a school project got a head start when Steve Jobs used Pulse in his iPad launch keynote. Then even more news when The New York Times insisted it be withdrawn from the iTunes store.

And just as our beautiful new brand was poised to launch, the professional social media giant Linked In acquired Pulse for a cool $90M. Well done guys — we can’t wait to see what Pulse does next.
